First Time Home Buyer
You’ve decided to take the leap and buy your very first home! Lucky you - Liberty Homes specializes in assisting first time buyers! We know you’ll have a lot of questions and the idea of buying a home can be truly scary –but we’re going to do our best to make it a fun, easy experience for you. It is a huge commitment and it’s worth the effort! So where do you start? Our qualified New Home Consultant will put you in touch with a preferred lender to discuss your financing options and help you get the best loan to meet your needs. You can trust Liberty Homes to hold your hand every step of the way. Then the fun part – choosing your lot, your house plan, and your interior options! We offer many option packages so you can really customize your home. Not an interior designer at heart? That’s fine too – we always have inventory homes under construction or completed, just waiting for you to move-in! If you decide to build, you can plan on moving into your new home in about 3-4 months. We won’t make you wait any longer than necessary. Along the way you can stop into the sales office to see how construction is going. Keep in mind, construction is a dirty process with beautiful results. Just call ahead and let us know when you’ll be stopping by so we can give you the best service. Your lender will be asking you for a lot of personal financial documents and information while working on your loan. This is completely confidential and a necessary part of the process to obtain financing. Remember, the sooner you can get them what they need, the sooner you can move into your new home! Once construction is completed, we’ll call you to set up your pre-closing walk-through. This is your opportunity to meet with the building supervisor, learn about the systems in the home, and also to be sure the home is built to your satisfaction. When your lender is finished processing the loan, they will send all the paperwork to our closing attorney. We do our best to accommodate every buyer’s schedule and you’ll have plenty of notice as to the date and time of your real estate closing. You can expect a lot of signing that day, but most of it will just be a review of the loan terms you already discussed with your lender. Then finally the moment you’ve been waiting for – you will be given the keys to your first Liberty Home! Congratulations - you did it! (We knew you could!) |
